Family cradle

This is the family cradle purchased for my my sister Kristen. All five of the James grandchildren have shared time in it -- and our James is no exception!

James in Babefest 2006

After an evening catch-up session at the local bar without our offspring, some of my high school friends gathered our kiddos together for Babefest 2006. We need a few more years before James fully appreciates the 3:1 female-to-male ratio.

Where the Wild Things Are...

Sonya brought over the quilt she and Laura Beth created for James David. Colin and I are AMAZED at how awesome it looks--- they designed the entire quilt from scratch with only the book as a guide. It's absolutely beautiful and James loves it... perfect for his afternoon nap.

Happy Moore Faux Thanksgiving

Every year since we've been married I've whisked Colin away to the frigid land of Oz for the actual turkey day. Before we go, we always have a "faux" Thanksgiving with his family-- it's a great chance to get together and catch up. Too bad James slept through the night -- and Oscar too! For awhile there it was just like old times with just us old folks. Thanks to the entire Moore clan for making the trip and for a fantastic faux Thanksgiving.
For a fleeting moment the monkey man is awake.

Oscar- take the pumpkin!

Cozy Sunday

As the cool weather approaches, Colin watches the temperature like a hawk. Yesterday he was ecstatic that it was supposed to be below 60 degrees-- his self-imposed threshold for building a fire. It was a great cozy Sunday night -- and a fantastic fire!

Election 2006

James was sad he couldn't wear his political onesie. But Tuesday's election results cheered him up!
