PLAY DATE

Chili dog turned 2 years old this week. Clearly, the "dressing your dog in costume" habit must be hereditary. Mom and Dad, even Trooper is humiliated when I make him play dress up. But Senor Chili looks psyched. What does that say about your dog?

I think all the excitement of the noisemakers and hats tuckered Chili out. Here he is with Mr. Leo taking a long winters nap. Makes me want to curl up with them.

And here we all are (except Barry... but if someone will send me her pic that will be promptly corrected). We had a fun playdate with friends from law school.... and all our lil munchkins. It was all fun and games until Hannah and Jackson started making out in the wagon. We need to keep our eyes on those two! Thanks to all of you for coming and to Kelly for providing the grand play room.

Another weekend... a new trick.

James dressed in some new digs for Mardi Gras.

We really like James in his AC/DC t-shirt... but I guess he didn't like it so much. After a little struggling he managed to get his entire arm out of his shirt.

Happy Valentines Day Everyone!!

This is baby J with his Valentines Day loot. Check out the Guns N Roses Onesie- sweet! He also enjoyed reading his new book and all the special Valentines Day cards. Special thanks to Uncle Justin (aka Judy) and Mimi and Papa.

James had fun trying on his new hat collection.

Here's Puke in Your Ear...

My Grandpa has this saying, "Here's Mud in Your Eye." Neither me or Kristen have really understood what this means - it's just one of those Papa-isms that he is famous for (much like the beloved/hated da-boogeduhwah. Did I spell that right?).

ANYWAYs, I think we should change it to "Puke in your Ear"- and here's why.

Yesterday as I was in the shower I hear Colin yelling, "HELP HELP." He comes running in the bathroom with James being held in the straight-arm pose 3 feet out from his body. "Take Him, Take Him," Colin cries. Apparently, James had projectile vomitted straight into Colin's ear canal.

Wonder what he did to deserve that? :) Colin said even later that night his ear was all squishy.
Happy Valentines, Sweetie!

Thanks!

This blog is a shout out to all our friends and family who have done their part to spoil our sweetie from day One. We are enjoying all the fun gifts and clothes - and wanted to share some photos in his new digs.

Baby J sends thanks out to all his peeps who sent him some love this Valentines Day. He's already eyeing the Guns N Roses onesie - wants to save it for the Big Day. Also handy are the pelican bibs, teddy bear and book sent from Grammy and Grumpy. Or is it Nana... man it changes everyday.

DUDE - Check out the shoes! Authentic Chuck Taylors from Auntie Seester. She is already dressing me like her twin.

And here is my gator puppet all the way from O-town. Auntie Seester, when am I gonna get a copy of that homeade Baby Einsten video? I'm still waiting. Maybe it can be Blue's debut.

Another Gracias to pals Eva Gail and Amy Simon who wanted to start him off right. This pic is also meant to cheer up Uncle Justin who's been chanting UT cheers when I'm not looking.

Elizabeth is Here!

And here are the pics to proove it! We travelled to Katy Saturday morning to hang out with LB, Mike, Oscar and their precious new little one. They certainly have a house full of adorable children!!!

Check out that head FULL of dark brown hair! What a beauty...

Weekend pics

We started cereal this weekend...

Happy Birthday Hannah Henry

James' future girlfriend (well, one of many) celebrates her First Birthday this week. She's adorable!!

This is a pic from the couple's first rendevous... James was about 2 months I think. Hannah was a perfect sweetheart-- she petted him on the head like a dog. HA

Big Announcement from Mike and LB

Their very own Elizabeth Angelina arrived early last Thurday morning. Laura Beth and baby are doing great -- home from the hospital yesterday. I hear Oscar is adjusting well with the new arrival, but puppy Pete is not.

I will definitely post pictures as soon as I get them!!
